Compassionate care for seniors

Care Management

As the variety of services available to improve the lifestyles of the elderly has increased, retirement decisions have become more complicated. Families and other professionals now turn to professional geriatric care managers to help them navigate the complex puzzle of retirement living resources. As professional geriatric care managers, we have insight into issues surrounding long-distance caregiving, housing options, home safety concerns (including adaptations), in-home services, and the emotional aspects of aging. We offer counseling and consultation services regarding situational problems or crises. We can assist with many of the unique problems faced by the elderly, disabled, and their families, such as grief and loss issues and conflict concerning care issues.

We also offer the Friendly Visitor Program, in which our assistant care managers visit clients in care facilities or in their own homes. The Friendly Visitor can run errands, go shopping, or go on outings such as lunch, church, or a concert. The Friendly Visitor can also stop by just to share a cup of coffee and visit.
